Mystery Plays – The Nativity

Ladies & Gentlemen –

I know – my blogging skills have been somewhat lacking of late – but I’ve been acting dah-ling!

On that note…

Short notice I know but…

Next week I am appearing in another play (no more now ’til next year – promise!)

THE NATIVITY,
by Tony Harrison

At:
The cornerHOUSE:
Wed December 6 to Sat December 9.

About the Play:
A company of local actors, singers and musicians are bringing a unique theatrical experience to the cornerHOUSE in Tolworth from December 6.

Collectively known as The Cloud Factory Theatre Company, they will be presenting

The Nativity – the first part of ‘The Mysteries’ trilogy – by poet and
playwright Tony Harrison.
It was first performed in the early 1980s at the
National Theatre, to rave reviews, although its roots go back many hundreds of years.

The script is based on the mediaeval Mystery Plays, which were performed in the streets of many English cities and not only gave ordinary people their first taste of theatre, but also brought the Biblical stories to life as never before.

The Nativity captures the flavour of these open air performances – not only through the rich, poetic language, but also in the fact that it is performed ‘in promenade’. In other words, the audience will be led around the cornerHOUSE, with scenes unfolding all around them.

The production also features a live folk band, who are recreating the
original musical score – a rare event in itself, for it was created by a
band, led by top folk musician John Tams, who played by ear. Nothing was ever written down, and it survives only in recordings.

The Nativity takes you on a journey into the past, from the creation of the world through to the birth of Jesus, blending comedy and tragedy, song and dance, and Christian and ancient English traditions in a way that is totally unique. It promises to be a memorable theatrical experience.

Details:
Performances: from Wed December 6 to Sat December 9.
Doors open 7pm. The show begins at 7.30pm.
Tickets cost £7 (£5 concessions).

A bit from me:
This play is unlike anything I’ve ever been in before and will be very different (I’m sure) to anything you’ve seen before – it’s a lot of fun and if manage to make it along I’m sure you’ll have a fun evening… The cast are great and the live band really adds to the whole atmosphere of the piece…
Those of you that came to see me in Mum’s Legs/Alone earlier this year – this production is at the same place…
(so you know where you’re going!)
Those of you who came to see me in Our Country’s Good – this production is NOT at the same place – it’s a bit further on past Kingston, through Surbiton and nearly into Tolworth – a 281 from Twix will sort you out no bother!

Email/Text/Call me if you have any questions etc…
Obviously – this is extremely late notice and it’s my own fault for leaving it so late for posting this blog so if you can’t make it I’ll understand – but if you can – then WHOOPEEEEE!
I’ll see you there!

Our Country’s Good

Or in person from:

Getting there:

Streetmap: For You

Or failing that – get a train to Kingston Station and walk from there!

A note from me:
I know a few of you came to see me in the One Acts Festival back in April, (before I went to Thailand – go back to the very beginning of my blogs and you’ll find them), and know how well received they were…
Well some members of the above company saw me in those two plays and invited me to audition for their next show.

This is it!

The play is looking really good. I am writing this after having spent all weekend rehearsing and I am shattered. However – I am very excited about this performance and it is something I hope to be quite proud of when it’s over.

I would be really chuffed if you all could come along and support me and the theatre company in what I hope to be a rather excellent production.

A note about the play:
“The theatre is an expression of civilisation… It will remind them that there is more to life than crime, punishment. For a few hours we will no longer be despised prisoners and hated gaolers. We will laugh, we may be moved, we may even think a little…”
Amongst the wilderness a new colony is struggling to survive, populated by a ship full of convicts and a handful of Royal Marines to guard them. These unwilling pioneers find themselves trapped between slow starvation, the brutality of martial law and the terrors of this strange new world.

In effort to raise flagging morale and to create a more humane society in the makeshift colony, the Governor suggests the convicts stage a play. A young lieutenant is chosen to lead the rehearsals, with only two copies of the text, a cast of convicts, and one leading lady who is about to be hanged.

This entertaining and life affirming play tackles the controversial and very contemporary issues of prisoners’ rights, community development and national identity. Our Country’s Good was winner of the Laurence Olivier Play of the Year Award in 1988.

A note about TACIT and what they stand for/believe in:
TACIT Theatre is an exciting new type of company based in Kingston-upon-Thames, dedicated to producing rewarding theatre for today’s audiences.

The company membership comprises professional and amateur actors, directors, designers and technicians who, together with their audience, seek to understand ways in which selected classic and contemporary works can inform our modern lives.

By fusing amateur and professional talent, TACIT Theatre creates both touring and community productions, which allow everyone in the company to realise their own theatrical ambitions.

The company also runs a series of workshops led by theatre professionals, enabling all members to develop new skills and achieve the highest possible artistic and technical standards.

In this distinctive way, TACIT Theatre serves both its members and its audiences; but above all brings high quality, accessible and entertaining theatre back to the local community.

AND FINALLY!

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE!!!!

COME AND SEE MY PLAY!!!

Cheers.

James.

PS – If you can make – let me know.
That way I’ll know to stick around afterwards so I can buy you a drink… ;o)

Laura Draper’s Birthday!

Today is Laura Draper’s Birthday!

So..

Because I haven’t sent her a card or anything.
Or even made an effort to go down to see her for her party…

I would like to dedicate this blog to the Lovely Laws.

So here is a message,
To my mate Laura D –
Have a Happy Birthday mate,
Lots of love from yours truly…

Photobucket

“BUT WHO IS LAWS!?” ..I hear you cry,

Click Laura D and you’ll see!

Things that have made me laugh recently…

Good evening everyone..
A bit of a cop out I know – but I’ve been SUCH a busy boy lately my blogging skills have suffered..

For this – I am truly sorry.

PhotobucketBut in the meantime – here are something that have made me laugh!
🙂

First up!

Me, in my ridiculously tiny sunglasses —->

I’m actually thinking about taking them back and getting some bigger ones..
They just don’t seem big enough.. y’know?

NEXT:

I have a friend called Vicky. She is lovely.
Beautiful, funny, intelligent, witty.. everso caring and considerate but also a teeny bit bonkers..
(which is probably why I love her like I do)…

Anywhoo – I stayed there a while back and in the morning she had to do her nails (as women do)…
So – I’m minding my own business and Vicky starts talking about her ‘monkey’.

“Your what?”

“I need my monkey to dry my nails…”

“EH?!”

Next thing I know out pops this thing:

Photobucket

HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!

You put your fingers on the Monkey’s ‘nanas and he blows air over your nails for you!
I don’t know why, but I found this absolutely hilarious.

Vicky just giggled away with me.. but it was just SO random..
Hahaha – I’m still smiling about it now.

Hehehe…

NEXT!

This is my friend Will.
Trying to use his new BBQ.

Photobucket

I think that’s all I need to say in regards to that one!

PhotobucketIn other news..
Here’s a picture of me and Alex’s Giant Ring —- >

I love Alex’s Ring.
Alex’s Ring loves me.
We were meant to be.
Don’t you think?

Also..
I don’t know why that pic is yellow.
But it is.
Maybe it’s leaking from my hair…
Who knows?

Moving on…

I saw this at my Mum’s house the other weekend.

Photobucket

HAHAHAHAHAH!
Apparently its a Duster… I just laughed so hard when I saw it.

HOW RANDOM?!
Hehehehee…

That very same weekend – while I was visiting friends and family on the Isle of Canvey I nipped round to see my mate Tony..
He asked me if I like his dishwasher…

Photobucket

He then burst into fits of laughter..
As did I.
Who buys a dishwasher TO KEEP FOOD IN?!
WHO?!

Hahaha…

Remember me in my *super-cool* Sunny-G’s?

Well…

– because they are SO super-cool

…whenever I produce them, people just want to try them on!

So here – for your delectation – is a selection of random people wearing my sunglasses…

Photobucket.PhotobucketPhotobucket.PhotobucketPhotobucket.PhotobucketPhotobucket.Photobucket

James, Anthony, Alex, Mark, Jim, Basti, Alio (feat. Jess) and Rich…

…I salute you all!
Every single one of you!

Right then..
A couple more then I really must chip off to bed…

This is my mate Flashy blatantly abusing the law…

Photobucket

Hehe
..and while we’re on the subject of Flashy..

This is my friend Alio.
She’s a good girl.
But sometimes she likes to be silly in the middle of very important meetings

Photobucket

..but, when not posing alongside Flashy’s backside, Ali Bongo likes hiding under blankets, drinking strawberry cider, listening to all sorts of ker-razy music and generally having fun taking amusing photos of herself, and others.
Check out her myspace in fact.. you’ll see what I mean!

..and I *think* ..that’s everything.

Quick update Lifewise:

I’m having a great time still..!

Been out clubbing not as much – but still having fun…

Kind of seeing someone at the moment – that’s all cool.
(and I think she’s probably going to read this so I can’t really go into TOO much detail – wink wink – nudge nudge – you know who you are)

Still working bloody hard.
Still loving my job.

If you’re still not sure about what I do –

“..simply text ‘Mobi Daily’ to 63333 for your FREE download…”

Then you’ll see..

Advert over..
..well – nearly:

Very soon – thanks to the lovely intelligent people at Mobizines – you’ll be able to read my blog ON YOUR MOBILE!

I KNOW!
HOW EXCITING IS THAT?!

Errr… yes – where was I?

Had a great night clubbing at the weekend with one of my new best mates Liv (she’s my hairdresser too – she’s wicked) – her fella runs this night at Isha in Kingston on the last Saturday of every month called Sugafem.
Playing some wicked funky house and some sexy dirty classics..

Lovin’ it…
Ended up going back to some dudes house where he had some decks – mixin’ it up styleeee…
Hehe..

I’m STILL rehearsing too by the way!
Five weeks now until Our Country’s Good goes up.
Looking forward to that – made some real proper progress with my character..
Most of my main scenes are one on one with another bloke, so the rest of the cast hasn’t really seen what I’m doing with it yet.. but I’m looking forward to showing him off as it were – I’m aiming for something a bit edgy.. a bit.. intimidating y’know?
(I’m playing Ketch Freeman if you know the play at all)

But yeah – the Director, Jess – has really kind of encouraged me to explore this (what seemed at first to be a small) role.. and has given me some great direction.
Got a real good working relationship there.. proper director/actor respect y’know?
I’m really happy with it… …all I’ve gotta do now is get off book!
EEEK!

Ahem…

This month also sees the start of rehearsals for The Nativity too.
I think I’ve got my first call this Sunday – so fingers crossed for that one.
I’m really looking forward to working on this – the Director has got quite a good vision it seems and there’s an energy about him that reminds me of a good friend of mine.. so yeah – should be good.

The weekend also gave cause for a celebration too!
One of my closest friends, Natalie, managed to drag herself out of the horrid clutches of all things Essex and moved herself (and her lovely li’l sis, Squiffy) to sunny Surbiton!
Which.. for those of you who DONT know.. is about 30mins on the bus from here!
WHICH.. for those of you who dont know.. is SO much better than 2hrs on the train from here!
So – big HOORAH for Nats!
(I’ll come visit you soon darlin’ – when you’re all settled in like)

*sigh*

I always intend to write such short blogs – but it never happens!
Dammit…

Ok – quick wrap up…

Thanks for reading!
Things to do for next time…

I must email Sarah Bennett.
I must call Victoria Jackson.
I must text Selina Forrest.
I must hug Ali Bongo.

Laters Potatas!

PS – I’m a bit of a cheat – I’ve done two of those things already..
Ah well!

Hehe.. ’til next time true believers..

Like butter spread over too much bread…

Evening all…

It’s around 6pm – I’m falling asleep at my desk.
Too many late nights and early mornings.

I work hard and I play very hard.

My skin feels crap and oily and mank.

Tonight I have duties to attend to but I’m deciding against them – falling back on the old phrase that you should stick to your responsibilities as long as they are:

“Without detriment to yourself or your connections”

Well – I am shattered.

I have a headache (which I never get),
I’m all spotty and horrible, (no good for the ladies – obviously),
Tonight I was supposed to be going out but instead I am going to go home to bed.

I. Need. Sleep.

Big catch up blog to come soon – I promise.

It’s just.. Ok – Here we go:

Monday night I saw my mate Liv.
Tuesday night I had rehearsals for Our Country’s Good.
Wednesday night I saw a lovely lass named Selina.
Thursday night (tonight) I’m supposed to be out but I can’t see it happening.
Friday night I’m going Karaoke with my family on Canvey then into Basildon with my Sister.
Saturday night I’m in Westcliff Casino celebrating my friend Bodger’s birthday.
Sunday I have to be back in Twickenham for 11am for more OCG rehearsals.

And that’s just this week.

Obviously I work Mon-Fri too. Hard.
I’ve never worked so bloody hard in my life.
Especially on something that I actually believe in and care about.
It’s MENTAL!
But hey – they pay me to play with Mobile Phones.
Winner.

Right – I’m going home to bed now.
Take it easy folks – I may post later if I can’t sleep.

N’night…

PS:

This is a new blogspot that Nemi and I have setup.
Check it out…

Why Don’t Grownups Get It?

It’s only young so there’s not much content – but it’ll grow.

Til next time.

This weekend I’m going down to Essex to see friends and family.

I know… I’m rubbish..

It’s been OVER A MONTH since my last blog…
It is now 23:03 and I’ve just got home and I am shattered.
SO tired…

I’ve been meaning to update this for ages now – and I promise.. I will.

Good boys keep diaries.
Bad boys don’t get time.

That’s all you need to know for the time being I guess…

I’m doing two plays, a film, I’ve started doing charity stuff again and I’m trying to hold down a decent social life whilst also taking in the wonders of the new world that is known as ‘dating’ – it’s all very odd.
Jen and I are no more – not that there ever was an official ‘Jen and I’ but yeah – that happened a fair while back now..
So that’s that sorted – we’re still very much in contact though – she’s a top bird and we always said we’d remain firm friends – so I’m glad we’ve been able to..
Cheers you.

Anyway – enough about her.. Hehehe (sorry)

What have I been up to?!

WELL…
LOADS to be fair.

There’s nowhere near enough time to cram it all into one sesh – I’m shattered – NEED BED.

Quickly – I’ve rediscovered my love for clubbing/dancing.
I’ve got into the habit of not wearing underwear. At all times.
I have blonde in my hair.
I have some wicked plans for November.
I’ve discovered my uncle plays the bassoon in some weird band in Essex.
All very weird.
Also – one of those sentences is not true..
Answers via comments/messages to the usual address… ;o)

But yes.
Loving my job.
Loving my life at the mo.
Working hard and playing hard.
Catching up with me a bit now…
“HENCE THE NEED FOR SLEEP JAMES!”
..note to self – stop leaving notes for self.

Ahem – anywhoo – I’m signing off now.
I hope to come back with a (proper) update very soon..

In the meantime however..
Here’s me:

Photobucket

To quote:

“It’s dark… and we’re wearing sunglasses”

(what film?)

On that note: My Sunglasses… Too small do you think?

Forgive me Father…

03:04 – Forgive me Father…
Current mood: Shattered

…I have sinned.

“My candle’s burning at both ends
It will not last the night.
But Oh my foes, and Ah my friends
It sheds a lovely light.”

It has been over a week since my last blog.
I promised myself I wouldn’t leave it this long again.

I’ll try and update tonight.
Promise.

Been working and playing far too hard for my own good.
But more to come on that… Later*.

In the meantime…
To make you smile.

Here’s a donkey.
In a boat.

*maybe tonight… but it could well be tomorrow.

I’m shattered.

The Weekend

Greetings travellers..
..and how’s your weekend going?

Mine’s been pretty good so far considering…

Considering…? Considering what?!

Well – considering that I am
a) (STILL) super skint
b) Without my mobile phone.

a) is down to the fact that no matter how many times I call my last job and give them my new address details they still insist on sending my last bit of cash to my old flat. …and not only did they send it there, but they also sent a cheque. Which means that I have to wait another week before I can get my hands on it! AARGH!

b) I’d rather not talk about it. Bit of a sore point. Grr….

Anywhoo….
Lets not talk about what I didnt do eh?! Lets talk about what I DID do!
YAY!

Ahem..
So yeah…

Friday:
Friday at work I’m in a bit of a tizz.
My mobile phone had just gone up the spout and I had to email everyone to tell them and stuff..
But then there’s the select few who I talk to who aren’t as tech’d up as to have an email address yet…

(I know – shocking isn’t it?)

…so there I was trying to let everyone know that even though you cant actually get me on my usual number:
I am alive and I am available this weekend for fun and giggles etc… Bah.

Well – the usual suspects didnt get back to me –
I would go off on one about how crap some of my friends have been lately but to be quite honest:

a) Its bad for the spirit &
b) I’d rather spend my time explaining how great some my other friends have been.

There’s a lesson there folks.
Care about those who care about you.
Dont get upset about those who dont.
Just focus on those that do.
Your life will be a happier place.

Moving on, before we get too deep…

I got a random email from my friend Roger…
(if you want to see her, check my last but one blog – there’s a photo there – she’s cool)
…explaining about this crazy Brazilian carnival thing happening up in Angel on Saturday afternoon…
I dont actually think I was supposed to get the email originally…
(it was entitled – ‘afternoon ladies’ – lol)
…but I’m glad Nomi (Roger aka Naomi aka Nomi) put me in the ‘cc list’ –
I think it was the free samba lessons that made her do it.. Hahaha..
But yeah – this is the thing here: http://www.sadlerswells.com/whats_on/2005_2006/carnival.asp

Nomi works for the Sadlers Wells Theatre see and she was going to be working on the day organising stuff and stuff… so yeah.
I emailed Roger and took the mick for her calling me a lady etc..
..and she ended up inviting me over to her and Aidan’s place for vino… which was cool.

Friday pre-nomi = No Plans
Friday post-nomi = Plans

So Yay Nomi!
Hehehe…
Finished work about 6ish, got meself over to their cool place in Clapham and got on the Rose… .
We tend to eat and drink lots, play xbox and then hurl abuse at passers-by from their fifth floor balcony..
Sounds puerile but it is a LOT of fun…
Hahaha – so thats what we did! Nomi did stir fry and it was lush.

Was all cool… left there about tennish, feeling totally knackered and just wanting my bed.
Hit Twickenham about 2245, walked down into Twickenham High St and bumped into my mate Burns and his mate Zee. They were batfaced. Absolutely plastered…

“Alright Schlag – where you been?! Fancy coming to the Patch?”

That’s my mate Steve.

“Nah mate, I’m skint. No can do.”

“Ahh shutup, there’s £40, get yourself home and changed, we’ll meet you in there in half hour..”

“…NICE ONE BRUVVA!”

Haha, jumped on a bus home, got changed, jumped on a bus back into Twickenham and Patched it up for the rest if the night with Zee & Steve…

My other mate Hodge turned up randomly at about midnight too (he of Bon Jovi fame – see my Bon Jovi blog – thats him) – so we all got bang on it and had a great night.
The Patch by the way, as you may’ve gathered, is Twickenham’s only club.
Its not brilliant but its cheesy as hell and you can walk home afterwards.
Check it: http://www.cabbagepatch.co.uk/nightclub.htm

Hahah – I’ve never seen that site before:
“Let our wonderfully versatile DJs effortlessly lead a sparky mix of jazz, funk, disco, dance & soul”

Lol – Brilliant – If you’ve ever been to ‘Le Patch’ then you’ll know exactly why that’s so funny… Hahaha…

Saturday:
Woke up Saturday morning. Feeling fine, no hangover whatsoever.
Hmm – might have something to do with being sick the night before but hey, we wont talk about that eh?
(Stir Fry, Seven Blue WKDs, Jigging = Badness)

Ahem…
Burns rang me about eleven ish and we hooked up to play some frisbee over on Twickenham Green, (I do like a bit of frisbee) while we waited for Hodge to get in touch.

FYI – The previous night I’d managed to convince the two Steves (Hodge & Burns) to join my on my trip to Rio (in Angel – Hehe).
Which they did!
Here we are, up in Angel, getting on it on cheap and nasty Vodka at a Brazilian Carnival:

Burns, Hodge and Me.

Lots of fun, man there was some random shizzle in that carnival…
Here’s a quick selection of the more random photos I took:

More Vodka!

So yeah… Kept buying various soft drinks so we could ‘just add vodka’.
My personal favourite being Mango Smoothie Vodka:

Haha – was well on it by the time we met up with Nomi for post carnival drinks.
All good…

“Hic….”

Hehehehe….

Anywhoo –
After that, the two Steves and I travelled down to Fulham to go to this funky little bar called Cactus Blue.
It was my boss’ engagement party and she’d invited me the day before..
Really nice cool little place man – have to go out in Fulham more often.
But yeah – Got on the Mojitos… Hehehe.. Nice..
Spent an hour or so there…
Drinking and mingling et al…
..and then headed back to Twix for more drinks in the Up’n’Under…
(in particular – sambucas, for some reason)

…and then surprise surprise!
We ended up BACK IN THE PATCH!

Two nights on the trot.
That is:

Just.
Not.
Good.

Hahah…

But we ended up having a better night then Friday mind, music was better and stuff… and MAN did I dance!
I havent let rip like that in ages… fantastic.
…just a shame there was too many rugger-buggers in there eh?
Needless to say – we were hammered…

Hahaha…
Got home about 3ish…

Sunday:
Well that’s today.
So far – I’ve done sweet FA. Which is good.
Havent done ‘nothing’ for ages.
Might do some washing in a bit – its an exciting life aint it?!
Hahaha..
I am however going to see Superman Returns at the IMAX later with my mate Louisa.

http://www.bfi.org.uk/incinemas/imax/

Cant. Wait.
I’ll take some pics if I can… its gonna ROCK.

But…before I sign off I need to say something:

Folks. I am truly blessed with some great friends.
The last few months of my life have been tough for various reasons.
Lately, mainly financially… but before that there was a whole heap of other crap going on in my life.
My friends have been there for me every step of the way and without them, I doubt I’d be the person that I am sitting here today.

So.. Here’s to you my friends.

Thank you – your generosity and kindness will not be forgotten easily and I hope I can be there for you all one day as you have been for me.

…and on that note folks:
With a smile on my face, I’m gonna sign off.

Next time on “Whatley’s World”:

– Exactly how good is Superman Returns and does making 20mins of it 3D improve it somehow?

– Week 3 in his new job. How is it going?

– Pay day. At last.

– Looking forward to the next weekend.

So.. until then…
TTFN!

:o)

Yup – its been ages I know

My life in as little words and as many pics as poss.. ya ready?!

Here we go!

Last time we spoke I had spent the weekend in Canvey mildly drunk.
Here I am. Mildly drunk.

I went back to work after all that time off..
..and I went in thinking it was gonna be sunny..

But.. it wasnt:

It was rainin’..
Ah well..

That week it was Jobber’s birthday – we went to the pub:
Jobber and his mate Wing (more on him later), outside the pub…

He’s a good bloke our Jobs… that’s him on the right.
Gonna miss him from the Mail.. admittedly probably JUST him.

Moving on..

The weekend after that: England got knocked out of the World Cup.
It might’ve been the weekend before –
I really cant remember –
My days are swirling together through a mist of champagne and white wine..
Wergh.
Either way – Boooo.. England went out.
We don’t talk about who won it or whatever because nobody cares.
In all seriousness this World Cup will go down as the Cup of Cheats as SO many teams employed under-hand techniques on their road to the finals..

Not.
Good.

Anywhoo..

I watched our last game with my mate Jim.
..and here we are:

Yes.
We are drunk.

..and don’t ask about the sombreros.
I have no idea.

The following day I went to my see friends Roger and Aidan..
They live in this proper nice penthouse apartment overlooking Clapham Common..
The lifts are a bit old and scary mind..
Here I am, in a lift, a bit scared:

So yeah – that was cool.. the corridors are bit ‘Overlook Hotel’ too..
I keep expecting to see a kid on a tricycle screaming “Redrum.. Redrum..” at me… ahem.

But yeah – had a g-r-r-reat time. Roger did some fantastic food.
They’d been down to the farmer’s market in Balham that morning and got some lush veg..
Yum.
..and we spent the rest of the day yelling obscenities to passers by..
Yay.
(that was actually the most puerile fun I’ve had in ages – hehe)

Ooo oo oo!
I forgot!

The Friday before that..
My friend Vicky took me out to the ‘Che’ Exhibition at the V&A Museum.
The V&A:

It was SO cool… They had a big celebration of all things Cuban and there was food and dancing and Mojitos… oh how we love Mojitos…
I don’t know much about Ernesto ‘Che’ Guevara..
Here he is:

Or in fact I should now say.. I didnt know much about him.
The exhibition was wicked – REALLY interesting man..
The guy’s a legend and it’s amazing how his image has grown in the way it has considering this pic was a complete fluke..
Amazing stuff.
So yeah – Vicky took me out to dinner afterwards to a place called The Priory in Olympia.
It was lush and we had SUCH a nice evening just chattin’ y’know?
Was cool.
Tors – if you’re readin’ this – I owe ya!
:o)

Anywhoo – where was I?
That’s right Sunday at Roger and Aidan’s.
That was cool – called a few people a few names and then went on my merry way home..
Bahahahahahahaahahah!
___

Monday – back to work.
Eugh..

But – It was the final leg of my three year stint at the Mail.
The week kind of happened without incident…
Well – aside from The Wing (remember him?) wearing this disgusting shirt…

Talk about Ocular Rapage.
(and yes – that’s Jobber again.. WORKING! Shock Horror!)
Heheheh…

THIS is how you look good at work:

Urinals and all.. lol

Anyway… My last week at work..!

It was cool..
Unsurprisingly I got hammered on my last day.. about two bottles of red wine at lunch.
Probably the best part of a bottle of champagne in the afternoon and then..
God knows how much white wine at the pub afterwards..

But yeah – these are my girls:

Christina, Laura and Louisa… lovely they all are too.
See ya girls – nice workin’ with ya.. Bless ’em.

Apparently they were at my leaving drinks..
But I REALLY dont remember…
Apparently I may’ve embarrassed a few people – I’m sure I’ll hear about it all eventually.. lol

Whoops..
Ah well…

But!

What I do remember (and this would be pretty damn hard to forget) is what my lot bought me for a leaving present..
Check it out!

A nice shiny shiny Nintendo DS Lite.. “Ooooooooooo…”

Yeah man! Awesome –
I am proper impressed..

Anywhoo… my mate Laws came over that night.
Came to my party and everything – it was cool.
She’s a good girl she is – helped me get home!
(dont remember that either – apparently I made us get on the wrong tube but I dont believe her – you hear that Laws?! You tell fibs woman!)
lol

So yeah – the following day my mate Martin threw me a champagne breakfast picnic on Twickenham Green.. it was brill.
Me, Laws, Roger, Aidan, Martin and his girlfriend Lyddy all went…
Here we all are:

Laws & Martin, Martin & Lydia,
Lydia & Adian, Aidan & Roger,
Roger & Me, Me & ….a big church!

But yeah.. the picnic was wicked – Martin made all the food himself and we got hammered… again! I think I didnt really have a hangover per se.. I just carried on drinking from the previous night.. lol
Anywhoo – so we’re all sittin there and Martin says:

“Dudes! Check it out! Pac-Man!”

We had a bit of a chuckle about that.. but THEN.. Martin says:

“Weergh! Those poor ghosts! No wonder those f**kers run! Look at him from the front!”

I laughed so hard… Hahaha.. One of the funniest dudes I know, is Martin.
Love him to bits..

So yeah – after our AMAZING picnic:

Laws and I headed back to Canvey to catch with friends and family.
It was all good.

Had a wicked night on the Isle of Canvey then headed back to Sunny Twickenham..
(not much of a story there I know – but I was out of it and I really dont remember much)

Back in Twix – I thought i’d get an early night..
Right up until I decided to move my room around…
You ever get that?!
No?

Just me then..

Ach well..
At least I have a proper cool desk now:

Yes true believers – that is where yours truly sits when he is recounting his stories to you…

Nice huh?
I think so.. makes life online a lot more enjoyable..

Moving on…

Started at my new job Monday.
All good.

I now work for a company called Refresh Mobile – www.refreshmobile.com

They make things called Mobizines – www.mobizines.com

Its absolutely wicked.
I love it.

The hours are longer – but to be honest – I only noticed that on the first day when I didnt really know what I was doing.. since then – its been cool.
Non-stop. In fact im doin more hours than I should be…
I love it…

Today is Thursday.
Well – its now Friday because its gone midnight – started this blog ages ago.

I’m shattered….

Laters

PS – Ooo! Check this out!
Its Me and Martin!
Aidan did it for us..

How cool is THAT?!

I love it..
In fact – you can tell I love it because i’ve got a printed copy of it above my desk…

My friend Naomi (we call her Roger – she’s Aidan’s girlfriend) says we look like some kind of twisted parallel universe version of Miami Vice..

Hahahahahaahahah..!
