Monkey Business

The Brothers Whatley

My little brother has been in town all week and last night, finally, we managed to make some time to sit down and chat rubbish for a few minutes.

The camera gives up right at the end (my fault for not deleting all my #vlomo content off the memory from last year), but I think it ends everything with quite a nice little cliffhanger that perhaps we can pick up on next time…

I will never get tired of making these. Ever.

Happy Birthday Dad

That little guy on the left, is my brother Stephen and that bigger guy on the right is my Dad. They both live in Gibraltar and I really don’t get to see them much. Last week, my Dad was over here, in London and – through various circumstances – I didn’t make time to see him.

I know he checks on me here from time to time, so hopefully he’ll see this today:

November 3rd 2009: My Dad’s Birthday.

Dad, this one’s for you.

Happy Birthday, x.

From me, and all the guys from my new office 🙂

Good morning one and all – I’m really crap.

I keep going to update this place.. and then something distracts me!

UPDATE COMING SOON!

In the meantime however – here’s some pics of me and my bro in Gibraltar!

:o)

His name is Stephen Arthur James Whatley, he’s six years old, he’s ginger and he means business..

My bro’s gonna be a little heartbreaker..!

One more?

Oh ok then..

:o)

I love my brother. He’s awesome.

I’ll type up some stuff later – but yeah – Stephen’s one of the main reason’s I go to Gibraltar..

He ROCKS!

Hahah – see what I did there? He Rocks?!
Yeah? ..as in The Rock of Gibraltar?!
I know.. Hahahaha.. Brilliant.

Greetings from Gibraltar

Afternoon all,

Uncle Travelling Matt reporting in..

I’m in Gibraltar!
It’s alright – weather’s ok and stuff..
Hangin’ out with my folks here and my l’il bro –
(he’s AWESOME – pics to come)

Father’s Day tomorrow – haven’t spent Father’s Day with my Dad in about 20yrs now so that should be good.. and then at about 1750 tomorrow I’ll be jumping on a plane back to London..
Should get home about 10pm tomorrow night I reckon. By ‘Home’ I mean my actual house.. taking into account Sunday trains etc.. I should be alright!

So yeah – I’ll write it all up then I guess.. haven’t got much time online here.
All my time’s taken up entertaining my bro… (he’s six years old see)

Speak soon!

J.

(I’ll be setting up a charity soon in my own name – all donations will be gratefully received and faithfully applied!)

Ciao for now.

Good things happen when you have no money

Good afternoon everybody!

Remember how I was saying that down to my recent work-based decisions.. I’m going to be Skint Eastwood for the forseeable future..
(as in – I dont get a full wage now until late August – Nice)

..well…

I got a phone call from my Step Mum today saying..

“Hi James, when are you going to come to Gibraltar again?”
(My Dad, his Wife and my Brother all live there)

“Well.. “ says I “..given the current financial climate that I’ve found myself in – probably not until November at the earliest..”
(I’ve been planning to go over in November for a while now anyway)

“What if we paid for you? Could you come this weekend?”

“Er… I guess!”

So.. GUESS WHO’S GOING TO GIBRALTAR?!

Wooooo!

Hahaha..

Ker-Razy man.
Last weekend Jon Bon Jovi…
This weekend Gibraltar!

You wouldn’t think I don’t have a penny to my name would ya?!
Mental!

Seriously mind – I can’t remember the last time I spent Father’s Day with my Dad. He left when I was about 6yrs old and has lived over in Gib for the last 15yrs or so at least.. so yeah.. will be nice to spend the day with my Dad. Looking forward to it. Its been.. ages.
Without sounding too dramatic – it’ll be nice because instead of doing nothing on Father’s Day and sitting around on my own (whilst 90% of all the other people I know are spending time with their respective male parent/guardian etc) I’ll actually be spending it with my Dad.

*BIG SIGH*

Life is SO good at the moment I LOVE it.

*sigh*

See you when I get back I guess…

TTFN!
